Kforce's client, a small manufacturing company in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Vice President of Finance. This position is responsible for strategic financial leadership and oversight of all financial operations. The role supports the President and the board by ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Strategic financial leadership:
  The VP of Finance provides financial direction, oversees financial planning, accounting, internal controls, and reporting, ensuring alignment with company growth and operational goals.
• Operational and compliance oversight:
  Responsibilities include managing month‑end and year‑end financial processes, audits, tax compliance, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and risk mitigation including cybersecurity and insurance.
• Team management and development:
  The role involves supervising accounting, payroll, and benefits personnel, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring and disciplinary actions.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; prefer professional certifications such as CPA or CMA.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in finance within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
