BISStern - Finance

BISSELL is looking for a finance intern. This intern will be an active collaborator, who will help evaluate and report on business profitability, analyze project performance, and review aspects of the income statement to help drive success. The Program will run from May 17th
- August 5th 2027. We are only considering candidates with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.

• Assisting with month-end reporting
  - Performing sales and cost analysis, variance analysis for revenue and margin, and reviewing performance by customer and category.
• Developing financials for new projects
  - Working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, project management, and engineering to develop in-depth financials for a real product.
• Mid-Year Update
  - Participating in the review of our annual business plan, running variance analysis vs. the plan, and partnering with managers to create reports for senior leadership.
• Promotional analysis
  - Working closely with sales and marketing to build a viable promo strategy.
• Using soft skills to present monthly and quarterly financial results to a cross-functional audience.
• Ad-hoc analysis of cost drivers, product mix, and customer profitability.

• Applicants MUST be currently enrolled at an accredited, four-year university pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting/General Business.
• Must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
• 3.0 GPA or greater preferred.
• Ability to organize work, manage multiple project activities, and communicate effectively across technical and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and seek guidance while collaborating with technical mentors.
