• Collects, coordinates, and reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments, including audits for completeness, review of Preliminary Damage Assessment information, exploratory calls, and understanding of applicant projects and recovery priorities.
• Supports communication with applicants: schedules meetings, tracks requests, coordinates document transmittals via FEMA Consolidated Resource Centers, schedules site inspections, and identifies when technical expertise may be needed.
• Supports the claims process by reviewing damage details, scopes of work, and costs; participates in FEMA meetings; evaluates and recommends claim eligibility; assists with Determination Memo and communicates final determinations; conducts exit briefings.
• May coordinate and conduct basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate and record damage for FEMAPublic Assistance grant delivery.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a FEMA Badge (background investigation for a Public Trust position).

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Domestic travel required.
• 5 years of in‑field experience (or 2 years with a bachelor’s degree).

• Good organizational and detail orientation, customer service skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and remain flexible.
