EMT Paramedic

Overview

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Collaborates with the entire health care team, as appropriate, and uses assessment skills to obtain information regarding the patient’s actual or potential status. Uses their knowledge and skills as delegated by the provider to work together to prevent when possible, and mitigate when necessary, already present physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.

• Graduate of approved paramedic program Required
• Skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through less than 2 years of experience as a paramedic Required
• 3 years of relevant experience as a Paramedic Preferred
• Successful completion of competency-based orientation program Required
• Paramedic License Michigan, Required upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association or American Red Cross 90 Days Required
