The 7 Center provides bedside care for high-risk obstetric, postpartum, or post-delivery patients. Complications may include high blood sugar, diabetes management, complex medical histories, Covid-19, and more. Care for newborns with feeding issues, blood sugar problems, high bilirubin levels, or requiring antibiotics is also provided.

We provide couplet care for mothers and babies, along with general women’s health and GYN patients. The Nurse Tech supports the delivery of quality patient care under RN or provider supervision, performing basic skills, and communicating observations to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, patient transportation, blood sugar checks, assisting with ADLs, and more. Nurse Techs also work in the nursery, caring for newborns by taking vitals, assisting with circumcisions, performing tests like hearing screens and car seat tests, blood sugars, and lab collections.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
• 1-2 years of direct patient care experience preferred
