Description:Provides non-invasive EEG testing and continuous monitoring for Neurology/Epilepsy patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), including computer setup, editing, and data mining. Responsible for producing high-quality neurodiagnostic tests to assist physicians in diagnosis. Communicates and collaborates with Neurologists to enhance patient care.
EducationMinimum:
Graduate of an accredited Electroneuro diagnostic Program (END) or on-the-job training with at least two years of experience.
Preferred:
Graduate of an accredited END program with an Associate's Degree and one year of electroneurodiagnostic experience.
Minimum:
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification or the ability to obtain upon hire.
Preferred:
Associate's Degree in Health Sciences. Ability to complete EEG Technologist certification by the American Board of Electroneuro diagnostic Technologists (ABRET) within two years of hire.
Minimum:
Satisfactory completion of CCF EEG Course and Testing.
Preferred:
Competence in non-invasive EEG testing.
