Human Resources Business Partner

Status: Full-Time, Hybrid – (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday on-site)

Mission

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The role formulates partnerships across HR to deliver value‑added service to management and employees, maintaining a strong business literacy of the unit’s financial position, mid‑range plans, culture, and competition.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their needs and align HR strategies and solutions with their goals.
  • Develop positive working relationships and business partnerships across designated offices and throughout the company.
  • Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, best practices, performance management, and coaching.
  • Manage employee relations, investigate, and develop fair, timely conflict‑resolution solutions.
  • Support talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Analyze compensation, ensuring external competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, partnering with the legal department as needed.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and provide analytics to assigned groups.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze turnover trends, and develop strategies to increase engagement and retention.
  • Participate in development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives, providing regular status updates to HR leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Conduct frequent meetings with business partners.
  • Consult with leaders and managers, providing HR guidance as appropriate.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough, objective investigations.
  • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day‑to‑day employee management, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide day‑to‑day performance‑management guidance (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Provide guidance on business restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and executive coaching needs.
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success; follow up to ensure objectives are met.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
