Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Grand Rapids, MI, for a Human Resources Coordinator. The successful candidate will oversee and execute HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and benefits administration. Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with employment regulations, managing employee documentation, conducting training sessions, and providing support for HR initiatives to enhance workplace culture and operational efficiency.
Qualifications- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes
- Skills in employee relations, benefits administration, and maintaining compliance with employment laws
- Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and HR information systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) are a plus
- Knowledge of the manufacturing or furniture industry is an advantage
