The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the facility-level human resources leader, supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll preparation, employee relations, and compliance. This role partners with facility leadership and corporate HR to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as primary payroll contact, resolving pay-related issues and coordinating adjustments with Corporate Finance.
  • Manage time and attendance system, ensuring accurate timecard review and approval.
  • Administer HRIS for personnel, compensation, and employee changes.
  • Process and track garnishments, child support, and court orders.
  • Lead facility recruitment efforts and manage applicant tracking system.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and retention programs.
  • Administer employee benefits, FMLA, personal leave, and workers' compensation.
  • Prepare OSHA and EEOC reporting, and assist with credentialing as needed.
  • Provide support with employee performance management and disputes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Strong HR knowledge including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2--3 years of HR experience, including payroll processing.
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and healthcare regulations.
Preferred:
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care environment.
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, move freely within facility, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Tolerance for odors and conditions typical of a nursing facility.
