Programmer Analyst

Salary: $80,000-$100,000 base salary plus full benefits package, bonus opportunities, and relocation assistance (if needed)

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Programmer / Business Analyst to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role supports the company’s ERP, MES, and EDI systems, helping business units access accurate data and make informed decisions. The ideal candidate has hands‑on RPG and SQL experience and enjoys solving complex challenges in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Support and enhance Infor ERP XA and Paper‑Less MES systems.
• Develop and maintain RPG programs and SQL queries to meet business needs.
• Manage EDI setup, integrations, and troubleshooting for customers and vendors.
• Monitor IBM i system operations and respond to system messages.
• Perform daily and monthly ERP procedures (EOD/EOM).
• Create dashboards and reports for management and department leaders.
• Collaborate with external vendors on software integrations and system improvements.
• Provide technical support and training to users across departments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in RPG programming, SQL, and relational database management.
• Experience with Infor ERP XA, Paper‑Less MES, and EDI preferred.
• Familiarity with IBM i Power Systems and TL Ashford a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
