The Technical Project Manager is an experienced leader who oversees complex technology projects, ensuring they are well-planned, executed, and delivered according to client goals. What You'll Accomplish:
  • Apply various project management frameworks while overseeing a wide range of project types.
  • Initiate proactive communication of task progress, risks, and impediments ahead of Project or Standup Meetings.
  • Independently manage time, task prioritization, and customer engagement meetings.
  • Integrate frameworks and customize approaches to align with project objectives, client requirements, and team dynamics.
  • Break down business challenges, craft thorough user stories, acceptance criteria, and gather requirements.
  • Own root cause analysis for incidents and define remediation tasks.
  • Be recognized as a leader and trusted advisor across Vervint.
  • Assist the account team in crafting and communicating project change requests.
  • Continuously refine best practices, standards, and templates using insights from project experiences.
  • Produce runbooks and facilitate documentation of lessons learned, best practices, and case studies, and lead Root Cause Analysis to drive organizational learning.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for the team, removing roadblocks and driving stakeholder communications.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to cultivate a high-performing project management team.
  • Balance the priorities of clients, teams, and projects, with a focus on driving progress toward deliverables and milestones.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders within your domain.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in project management, representing Vervint in client engagements and driving thought leadership and innovation.
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven success managing complex technology initiatives from planning through implementation, including IT acquisition and network/endpoint integration projects.
  • Experience overseeing Technical Debt Remediation efforts, including backlog assessment, prioritization, and cross-team execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate delivery across multiple work streams while managing scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Strong ability to partner with IT teams across network, telecom, server/storage/cloud, security, endpoint hardware, and other engineering functions.
  • Skilled at translating technical work into clear deliverables, tracking progress against milestones, and facilitating issue resolution.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
