Senior Business Analyst, Digital Transformation & Innovation

The Senior Business Analyst (Senior), Digital Transformation & Innovation (DT&I) plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic initiatives that enhance our digital capabilities. They analyze business processes, identify opportunities for digital innovation, and implement solutions that align with our Tax practice’s strategic goals. The Senior coordinates with the tax practice, DT&I, and National IT to create and implement technology tools that meet the needs of our clients and professionals.

The ideal candidate has an understanding of technology, process, and data.

• Creates prototypes and low-code solutions, as required.
• Creates reports, dashboards, and visualizations, as required.
• Gathers requirements from business stakeholders and translates them into features and user stories.
• Grooms requirements for architects and developers.
• Prepares technical documentation for assigned products.
• Performs functional product testing.
• Prepares test plans.
• Designs and tests business processes and recommends improvements.
• Identifies automation opportunities.
• Gathers and analyzes data related to assigned products and projects.
• Communicates insights and findings to product managers and technical leaders.
• Performs data discovery, analysis and modelling.
• Assists with project management, as required.
• Coordinates with National IT to schedule required reviews and deployment of tools.
• Other duties, as required.

• Acts as a direct supervisor to team members, as assigned.
• Acts as a mentor, as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree, required; focus in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, preferred.

Three (3) or more years of experience in business analysis, required.

• Knowledge of documenting requirements using Azure Dev Ops or Jira, required.
• Strong Microsoft Power Platform (Power
  
  BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) skills, preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL Server skills, preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of Alteryx, preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.

National Range: $80,000 - $140,000
Maryland Range: $80,000 - $140,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $80,000 - $140,000
