The Data & Payroll Analytics Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring payroll accuracy, data integrity, and operational efficiency
. This position combines data analytics, payroll operations, and automation to streamline processes, improve reporting, and support payroll execution across new and existing locations.

• Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for leadership and payroll teams.
• Develop DAX measures for accurate, flexible insights.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across reporting assets.

• Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks SQL and Py Spark .
• Ingest, clean, and transform data for the enterprise data warehouse.
• Support enhancements to data models and architecture
  .

• Partner with Payroll to automate:
  • Attendance tracking
  • Onboarding workflows for acquisitions
  • Bonus plan calculations and HRIS integrations
• Assist with payroll processing
  , data validation, and timely execution.

• Manage exception reports to resolve discrepancies.
• Build payroll models for newly acquired shops.
• Compare legacy payroll systems vs. Great Water’s platform for accuracy.

• Automate complex bonus plans in HRIS.
• Validate payouts and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails.

• Respond to data-related tickets and resolve reporting issues.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure stability of reporting and payroll systems.

Required Skills

• Power BI (including DAX)
• SQL (Databricks SQL, MSSQL)
• Microsoft Excel (Power Query, advanced formulas)
• Microsoft Access
• Strong understanding of payroll data and HRIS systems

• Python (automation, ETL)
• Experience with Databricks/Py Spark
