Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a leading Michigan-based full‑service law firm to hire a Trusts & Estate Planning Attorney for its growing Grand Rapids office. The role is open at the Associate or Counsel level, depending on experience, and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated estate planning matters in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.
Location:
Grand Rapids, MI
- Sophisticated trusts and estates practice serving individuals and families at all life stages
- Mix of estate planning, probate, and trust administration work
- Long‑term client relationships and highly customized planning
- Collaborative firm culture with strong cross‑practice support

- Advise clients on comprehensive estate planning strategies
- Draft and implement wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
- Counsel clients on tax planning, asset protection, charitable planning, and succession planning
- Assist with probate, trust administration, and post‑death matters
- Work directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys across practice groups
- JD from an accredited law school
- Licensed in Michigan or ability to become licensed
- 3+ years of substantive trusts and estates experience
- Strong drafting, analytical, and client communication skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while delivering high‑quality work
