Clean Team is hiring a Daytime Area Manager to oversee commercial cleaning accounts in Kentwood and the Greater Grand Rapids area.
In this role, you will lead cleaning teams, visit customer sites, and make sure each building meets our cleaning standards. You will also help solve daily problems, support employees, and keep customers happy.
We are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and ready to lead by example. You should enjoy working with people and be able to manage tasks at several locations.
Job ResponsibilitiesLead and support commercial cleaning employees.
Train new hires and help staff improve their skills.
Visit customer sites and check the quality of cleaning work.
Make sure each account meets company and customer standards.
Build strong relationships with customers.
Answer customer questions and resolve service concerns.
Create work schedules and arrange staff coverage.
Track cleaning supplies and equipment.
Help solve staffing and service issues.
Make sure employees follow safety rules and use cleaning chemicals correctly.
Travel between customer sites in the West Michigan area.
Help with special projects and weekend coverage when needed.
Job RequirementsExperience in management, supervision, or team leadership.
Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities, hospitality, retail, or logistics is a plus.
Good communication and people skills.
Strong time management and organization skills.
Ability to solve problems and work on your own.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Good driving record.
Willingness to take a hands-on approach.
Ability to work occasional weekends when needed.
