Pay Rate: $20.27 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential (Associate Technician)

Pay Rate: $21.62 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential (Mfg Tech I)

Shift Schedule

Plastics Plant operates 24 hours a day, four days a week, with a single 8‑hour shift scheduled on Fridays from 6 AM to 2 PM. Additional shifts are:

  • 1st Shift: M‑TH 6 AM – 4 PM or M‑F 6 AM – 2 PM.
  • 2nd Shift: M‑TH 1 PM – 11 PM.
  • 3rd Shift: M‑TH 10 PM – 8 AM.
Hours are subject to change based on volume/demand. Initial 2–3 months schedule flexibility required for training on alternate shifts. Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Technician in the plant, you will be part of a collaborative team, learning all aspects of the plant’s operations. You’ll work with Blow Mold packaging, Screen Print packaging, and the Warehouse operation. You will train other team members on proper standards, operating procedures, and industry best practices.

Skills & Background

  • Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Drive to understand root cause of issues and apply improvements.
  • Willingness to adapt to different approaches, ideas, tools, techniques, and processes.
  • Prior experience with manufacturer plastic products, troubleshooting, material changes, mold changeovers, measuring physical dimensions of a product, and adjusting to correct is a plus.
  • Ability to learn and navigate computer systems effectively.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Primary Equipment
  • Shuttle machines—Bekum 151, R&B, Techne.
  • Wheel machines—Uniloy (16 & 18 cavity).
  • Screen‑printing—Novax/Omso.
  • Support equipment—Conair, multiple grinders and auto‑deflashers, air and belt conveyance systems, bottle hoppers, Mettler Toledo vision systems, leak detectors, and takeout system.
Required Qualifications

Associate Technician

  • High school diploma.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient read, speak, and write in English to understand instructions, SOPs, and safety warnings/notifications/training/processes.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and verbally communicate GMP & FDA documentation and regulation.

Manufacturing Technician

  • All above experience, plus:
  • Prior experience with manufacturing food products, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, or working in a cGMP environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching for the purpose of working on equipment, picking and packing orders, loading and combining orders, and adding raw materials.
  • Frequent computer operation (typing, reading monitor) up to 6 hours.
  • Frequent gripping for up to 6 hours for operating hand and power tools, equipment hand controls, rope/chains, and manipulating products.
  • Continuous lifting and carrying of 50‑lb packed boxes and equipment.
  • Continuous standing and walking up to 8 hours.
  • Continuous use of upper body (arms, wrists, hands) up to 12 hours.
  • Continuous twisting for picking, packing, adding raw materials, blending, and driving moving vehicles.
  • Frequent climbing for the purpose of climbing on and off equipment on ladders.

As a Plastics Packaging Technician, you will be part of a collaborative team, learning all aspects of the plant’s operations. You’ll perform setup and process adjustments while executing autonomous and preventative maintenance tasks.
