Maintenance Manager

Global mold manufacturer, & supplier, in Grand Rapids seeks a Maintenance Manager to join their family centered culture. Responsibilities:

• Lead and train the Maintenance team to ensure equipment is running smoothly and limits downtime of injection molding presses
• Work with Production to schedule PMs and maintain a great preventative maintenance plan
• Identify potential root cause for machine disruption and delegate resolving these issues
• Perform maintenance projects as needed, identifying vendors, contractors etc
• Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunctions of machinery
• Analyze parts inventory and purchase supply when necessary
• Understand and maintain high standard of good 5S practices
• Report directly to the President of the company

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, Associates or Journeyman, preferred
• Strong mechanical and maintenance aptitude
• 5+ years experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment, required
• Previous Management/Supervisory experience in a Manufacturing Environment, required
• Willing to travel 15% of time regionally

• Permanent Full-time Employee
• Shift: Days, M-F 7a – 4p
• Pay:
  Depending on Experience
