OVERSEES AND ASSEMBLES ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, SUBASSEMBLIES, PRODUCTS AND/OR SYSTEMS
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:- Trains department staff
- Assists Supervisor in coordinating manpower requirements by increasing/decreasing personnel within the area.
- Prep and assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products and/or systems
- Reads work orders; follows production drawings; or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
- Adhere to all safety regulations
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Assist in other production areas as requested
- Applies all industry standards
- Other duties, as assigned
Applicants must possess any education, training or experience necessary to perform all essential duties and responsibilities associated with the position. Education, training and experience indicative of an individual's ability to perform all essential job duties and responsibilities include the following:
- High School diploma plus manufacturing assembly knowledge.
- Minimum two-years manufacturing experience, two-years leadership experience preferred
- Must have the ability to read work instructions, production drawings/schematics and follow instructions (verbal or written).
- Exhibit good people skills and the ability to relate to all levels of personnel within the company.
- Good knowledge and identification of electronic components
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics
- Knowledge of IPC Standards
- Shop tool knowledge
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to train and support co-workers in the work environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.
- Prior knowledge or experience working with a Native American Tribe.
