CNC Machinist

Engineered Tooling Systems (ETS) is looking to add an experienced CNC Machinist to their night shift team! The CNC Machinist is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

A $2 night shift premium is available for this position.

Reports to
: CNC Supervisor

Supervisory responsibilities
:
None.

• Download programs and MDI as needed.
• Perform your own programming and run your details.
• Set up machine with proper programs and tolerances required.
• Recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and make adjustments as needed to achieve the best possible results.
• Maintain appropriate tools and keep calibration current.
• Keep work area clean.
• Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
• Regular attendance during scheduled work hours.
• Employees may be requested to perform other job functions as required.

• Experience with using Work NC software.
• A well-rounded knowledge of cutters and inserts, and feeds/speeds.
li>Candidate must have a high school or equivalent education.
• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.

• Full use of all limbs.
• Read and speak English.
• Lift 40 pounds.
