Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Schedule: 6:00PM – 6:00AM

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to operate out of our Grand Rapids location. The Maintenance Technician maintains and troubleshoots equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.

• Responsible for equipment safety.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve all equipment malfunction of plant machinery.
• Assembly, dis-assembly, and upgrade of converting/extrusion equipment as required.
• Document all maintenance activities and champion preventative maintenance programs.
• Take proactive measures to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must have troubleshooting and problem resolution experience.
• Ability to complete assignments with limited supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and blueprint drawings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions including basic mathematical skills.
• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Ability to train on days before moving to nights.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or credentialed equivalent in English & Mathematics.
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a Maintenance role.
• Must have Mechanical experience. Electrical preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

• Full time.
• Overtime expected per business demand.

Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 pounds and endure elevated temperature levels.
