Screw MachinistIntegrity Trade Services is hiring a Screw Machinist for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $25-$30/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for Screw Machinists to join our team. A Screw Machinist will be responsible for setting up and running equipment to produce parts that meet precise specifications for the automotive, medical, electrical industry.
- Operate manual and automated machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
- Maintain and repair machine tools and equipment.
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine the specific operation to be performed.
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Set up and adjust multi-spindle screw machines such as:
Tornos, Acme and Gridley.
Third Shift: Sunday-Friday, 8PM-6AM
- Can expect about 50 hours per week.
- Previous experience in machining (2 years or more)
- Experience setting up and operating automatic screw machines (single- or multi-spindle, Swiss, or CNC screw machines), including loading bar stock, adjusting tooling, and making offsets.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, including tolerances and basic GD&T
- Skilled use of precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and comparators, along with following documented quality procedures and in-process checks.
