This non‑production role plays a key part in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing electrical control systems that meet USDA, HACCP, GMFP, and company standards
.
If you enjoy working with automation, PLCs, and electrical systems in a fast‑paced environment where quality and safety come first, this could be a great fit.
- Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, rebuilds, and equipment projects.
- Design, develop, implement, and supervise electrical control systems for machinery and process equipment.
- Collaborate with the Plant Engineer and Maintenance Managers to plan and execute electrical and control‑related goals.
- Provide electrical and programming troubleshooting support for all plant equipment and processes.
- Assist the Project Coordinator in developing and implementing cost‑saving initiatives.
- Build, wire, and install electrical panels and components as needed.
- Manage controls documentation and assist in developing SOPs for plant equipment and processes.
- Design and maintain HMI systems (Factory Talk View ME/SE, Panel View, Panel View+).
- Participate in HAZMAT and Refrigeration Support activities as required.
- Experience in PLC and HMI programming
, including RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, Factory Talk View ME & SE, Panel View, and Panel View+. - Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with PLC and VFD systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical
. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including networked/server environments.
- Licensed Electrician (or actively pursuing licensure) preferred.
- TIG welding to food‑grade stainless steel standards is a plus.
