Our clientis seeking a Press Tender to join their team. As a Press Tender, you will be part of the Production team supporting daily press operations and quality-focused output. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to follow work instructions consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Press Tender

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $18

Shift: 2nd

What's the Job?

• Set up and tend press equipment to support production schedules and workflow.
• Monitor the press operation throughout the run to maintain consistent quality and output.
• Follow standard work instructions, job specifications, and production documentation.
• Perform routine checks and basic adjustments as needed to keep work within required standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures and policies.

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, job requirements, and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail to support quality and reduce rework.
• Comfort working in a production environment with physical demands and time-sensitive tasks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn press-related processes and procedures.
• Commitment to safety practices, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
