Who we areStandale Reformed Church is a congregation of the Reformed Church of America (RCA). Our congregation is age‑diverse and passionate about an inspiring, life‑giving worship experience. Our time of worship is a blend of hymns and contemporary music. We strive to live out our mission each and every day:
Rooted in Christ. Real in relationships. Reaching our neighbors.
- Possess strong leadership skills to develop and foster a vibrant youth ministry so that our youth feel both loved and supported by their congregation, and also learn to disciple and love others in their community
- Exude and inspire a high level of excellence and commitment to the youth ministry program so that our students have a reliable, God‑fearing role model they can look up to and emulate
- Understand and own the value of a powerful youth group experience by designing engaging meetings that allow students to encounter God and open their hearts.
Plan the Programs

- In consultation with the Pastor, recruit, train, and supervise teams of adult volunteers and mentors who work with youth in all aspects of youth ministry, ensuring an adequate adult‑to‑youth ratio
- Ensure that all volunteers and mentors have passed a background check and receive appropriate orientation, training, and ongoing support to successfully fulfill their responsibilities.
- Supervise volunteers by providing direction, input, and feedback
- Develop and maintain good relationships with individual students, their parents/guardians, and/or any other parental figures who might be present in their lives (this may include teachers or school administrators)

- Ensure that the program operates within the approved budget
- This position will be 10 to 15 hours a week; however, we are hopeful that the role will increase in hours as the youth group numbers increase. The role pays $20 per hour, creating a total weekly rate of $200‑250
