SummaryThe Registered Nurse facilitates relationship-centered, compassionate, quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing art and science of professional nursing.

- Preparation of patients before endoscopy procedures.
- Instruct patients about at‑home prep for endoscopy procedures.
- Assist the physician during various endoscopy procedures.
- Provide nurse sedation during a procedure.
- Post‑operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit.
- Clean endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- In Grand Rapids, if ADN, must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete within 4 years of hire.
- Licensed in the State of Michigan.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) experience in a health care setting.
- Experience in an acute health care setting preferred; endoscopy or critical care preferred.
- Part time – 27 hours per week.
