Description: Trinity Health Grand Rapids Endoscopy Unit is a 12-bed unit that has 4 procedure rooms.

Summary: The Registered Nurse facilitates relationship-centered, compassionate, quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing art and science of professional nursing.

- Preparation of patients before endoscopy procedure.
- Instruct patients about at-home prep for endoscopy procedures.
- Assist the physician during various endoscopy procedures.
- Provide nurse sedation during a procedure.
- Post-operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit.
- Clean endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program.
- Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
- If ADN, must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire.
- Licensed in the State of Michigan.
- Current BLS.
- RN experience in a health care setting.
- Experience in an acute health care setting preferred (Endoscopy or critical care).
- Part time.
- 27 hours per week.
