Clinical Nurse Educator – Job Description

TSP, a Syneos Health company, is hiring a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) for an expanding biotechnology client focused on Urologic cancers. The role is pivotal within the client’s field organization, combining education, medical information expertise and sales support.

The CNE will educate healthcare professionals and pharmacists on the client’s products, provide non‑CME educational programs, serve as the medical information expert for the sales team, and assist managers with onboarding and business planning. The position requires up to 60% travel, with national and local medical and nursing meetings, and weekend coverage.

• Assist practices in understanding the safety and efficacy profile of the company’s products, proper utilization, patient selection criteria, and side‑effect management education.
• Provide non‑CME educational programs (designed by the client) to practices and organizations.
• Assist with the initial set‑up of office‑delivered patient education materials.
• Act as the medical information expert on the sales team in each region.
• Address issues and questions regarding the client’s product(s).
• Maintain accurate records of accounts visited and items discussed.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to develop and maintain a targeted business plan and database for the region.
• Travel up to 60% of the time; attend medical and nursing meetings on a national and local level, including weekend coverage.
• Manage booking of travel and hotel stays while in the field.
• Prepare an expense report for all business‑related expenses once every two weeks, but no less than once a month.

• Minimum requirement: B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Active healthcare license in at least one state within the territory covered.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in critical care.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Clinical Nurse Educator.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead without influence.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 4 nights per week.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Prior pharmaceutical or nursing experience.
• Comfortable delivering presentations to both small and large groups.
• Living near an airport.
