Job Description
The responsibilities of this position include providing both direct and indirect patient care to neonates within Level III and Level II NICUs.
Location and Facilities- Grand Rapids, Michigan: 15-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Muskegon, Michigan: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
The incumbent will collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams comprising physicians, nurses, and therapists. Additionally, the role entails participating in the teaching and mentoring of junior providers and trainees, as well as documenting patient care and clinical activities within the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Engagement in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research, as necessary, is expected. The candidate will also support community health programs related to neonatal care and is required to maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications.
Qualifications- Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (by the time of commencement)

Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration - REQUIRED:
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
