Clinical Nursing Supervisor, Full Time, 1st Shift

As a Clinical Nursing Supervisor at Pine Rest, you’ll lead unit staff in daily tasks, provide patient care oversight, and act as a resource and trainer for staff.

• Oversee Lead Care Providers, Care Providers, RNs, Lead RNs, and Unit Coordinators.
• Assess staffing needs and maintain staff‑to‑patient ratios within budget.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff.
• Provide input on patient safety and performance appraisals.

• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervise nursing care for residents and promote a therapeutic environment.
• Educate and support residents’ families ; oversee discharge planning.
• Monitor staffing and adjust assignments as needed.
• Document and report all required data in compliance with policies.

• BSN required or minimum of 5 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• Certified in CPR by end of orientation;
  Basic Life Support for inpatient and CPR/AED/First Aid for residential.
