• Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the peri-operative phases.
• Coordinates total patient care and patient safety with other health team members, particularly the Clinical and Patient Care Surgical Coordinator (PCSC) teams.
• Demonstrates professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for one’s nursing practice.
• Serve as a liaison as part of the New Vista Surgical Suites (“NVSS”) Team at The Bengtson Center for Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery (“BCAPS”).
• Provides a patient centered and forward thinking, professional, welcoming, efficient, and exceptional patient experience.
• Provides comprehensive nursing care during the pre-op and post-op phases.

• The position requires an Associate Degree in Nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Previous experience working in a Plastic Surgery Office or Med Spa is preferred.
• Previous experience working as a registered nurse in a similar environment or capacity and understanding of the tasks and requirements of the position.
• This position requires the ability to organize and prioritize work, complete responsibilities within required time frames, work independently, and collaborate effectively with others.
