Job Description: ASM Global /SAVOR, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Bartender at the Van Andel Arena, Grand Rapids, MI. This is a customer service-focused role for experienced bartenders committed to practicing responsible alcohol service in a professional environment.

Qualifications: Ideal candidates must have strong verbal communication skills, a professional demeanor, prior bartending experience, be self-motivated, and able to stand for long periods. Candidates should be personable and guest service-driven.

Essential Functions:

• Mix drinks to order and serve guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service and develop guest loyalty.
• Follow all SAVOR policies and procedures.
• Be present for all major and minor events at the Arena.

Education & Experience:

• Previous bartending experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent guest service skills and proper grooming standards.
• Completion of pre-employment food and alcohol service training (TIPs, Serv Safe certification).
• Basic math skills for handling cash and balancing bank.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and remain stationary for long periods.
• Constant walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Environmental Working Conditions:

• May be exposed to variable temperatures and confined spaces.
