Cashier/Sales Associate – All Shifts

Location:

• Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales—ensuring compliance with all age verification and legal requirements.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe.
• Deep clean high‑use restrooms.
• Wipe down and sanitize gas pumps (nozzles, screens, water buckets).
• Pick up litter and trash from floor and lot area.
• Take out the trash to the dumpster in all kinds of weather.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh and full.
• Maintain a clean and organized store—sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways.
• Willingly cross‑train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed.

• Pay Rate $13.73/hr.
• Age requirement: 18 years of age or older in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO. 21 years of age or older in all other states.
• Availability: must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Willingness: prepared to work hard, stay on feet for most of shift, comfortable indoors and outdoors under all weather.
• Communication skills: ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Math proficiency: basic math skills required.
• Physical ability: capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Pre‑employment screening: must pass a drug screen and be subject to a criminal background check.
• Personable and positive: friendly demeanor, good at making people feel welcome.
• Detail‑oriented: notice little things that make a big difference in customer experience.
• Reliable and responsible: punctual, trustworthy, take pride in work.
• Flexible: adaptable, ready to take on variety of tasks.
• Experience:
  
  previous experience in retail or customer service appreciated but not required.
