DESCRIPTION
Pay rate $16.00 an hour. The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Gains adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercepts, engages, interacts, and sells product to consumers positively.
- Effectively communicates features and benefits of the product.
- Prepares and serves food samples using small appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives).
- Maintains a clean, sterile, safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintains a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
- Sets up and prepares event table for execution.
- Achieves 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections.
- Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Completes expense reports per company policy.
- Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Uses internet, navigates company electronic systems, uses Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF forms.
- High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device, applications, and internal systems.
- Local food handlers permit may be required.
- Physical demands: stand, walk, use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb, step ladder; balance; lift up to 25 pounds, occasional up to 50 pounds; push and pull wheeled cart; prepare foods and beverages with required appliances; handle cleaning supplies.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- Work environment: retail store environment, limited travel.
- Physical appearance: present professional appearance and proper grooming; retail dress code applies.
- Language:
English primary; bilingual may be required.
