Visual Merchandising Project Specialist

We are seeking a Visual Merchandising Project Specialist to support store openings, remodels, and merchandising initiatives across a large retail organization. This role serves as the key liaison between store operations, construction teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure visual merchandising and signage programs are executed accurately and on schedule.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines retail operations knowledge, project management skills, and strong customer service abilities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, traveling to store locations, resolving issues in real time, and interacting confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.

What You'll DoManage visual merchandising projects associated with new store openings, remodels, and retail refresh initiatives.

Partner with construction, store operations, merchandising, and vendor teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Attend project kickoff meetings and serve as a primary point of contact for visual merchandising-related activities.

Review store layouts, planograms, signage packages, and merchandising plans to ensure execution aligns with approved standards.

Conduct on-site store visits before, during, and after installations to verify project progress and identify any issues.

Coordinate signage needs, place orders, track deliveries, and follow up on missing or incorrect materials.

Work closely with external vendors and internal partners to troubleshoot challenges and drive projects to completion.

Monitor project timelines and proactively communicate updates, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.

Ensure store environments are customer-ready and consistent with company merchandising standards.

Build strong working relationships with store leaders, market directors, project managers, and executive-level stakeholders.

Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting while managing multiple active projects simultaneously.
