Job DescriptionAs an Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician at Sears Home Services, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of home appliances—refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, and more—while delivering excellent customer service.

- Drive to multiple customers’ homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of appliances with high quality and efficiency.

- Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, organized, and efficient manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification.
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, including use of testing and repair tools.
- Preferred experience repairing and diagnosing a variety of home appliances.
- Ability to follow directions and processes for quality workmanship.
- Proficiency with smartphones, including part ordering.
- Successful completion of a background and drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license for the state(s) in which you work.
- Ability to travel up to 100%.
- Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including required overtime.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull and move up to 100 lbs as required.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements, bend, squat, kneel, twist, stand, walk, climb, crawl and reach as necessary.
- Ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle.
