As an Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician at Sears Home Services, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of home appliances—refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, and more—while delivering excellent customer service.

• Drive to multiple customers’ homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of appliances with high quality and efficiency.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience that consistently exceeds expectations.
• Provide value‑added solutions that benefit the customer’s home.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, organized, and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, including use of testing and repair tools.
• Preferred experience repairing and diagnosing a variety of home appliances.
• Ability to follow directions and processes for quality workmanship.
• Proficiency with smartphones, including part ordering.
• Successful completion of a background and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license for the state(s) in which you work.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including required overtime.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull and move up to 100 lbs as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, bend, squat, kneel, twist, stand, walk, climb, crawl and reach as necessary.
• Ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle.
