As a Laborer for RAM Construction Services, you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our surrounding areas. You will perform a variety of tasks that aid our skilled trade workers and contribute to the completion and success of a project.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform the set‑up and clean‑up of the job site by preparing materials, prepping the area, taking down staging, and any other necessary tasks.
- Direct traffic at or around the job site when necessary.
- Haul, dig, and move materials; lift objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds.
- Assist other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.) in their performance.
- Use hand tools and small power tools; employees must acquire their own hand tools gradually.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
- Minimum education level:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Prior construction experience preferred but not required.
Some travel is required to surrounding job sites. RAM will compensate a per diem for travel and overnight stay if applicable.
TechnologySome technology use may be required. Employees will be properly trained on how to use software, equipment, etc.
Work EnvironmentWork may involve seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, and areas close to traffic.
Following InstructionsAdhere to instructions from superintendents, project managers, and construction plans and blueprints.
CleanlinessMaintain a clean, organized and hazard‑free work area.
Safety ComplianceFollow all RAM health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
