HVAC Service Apprentice – Lennox

- Assist with on‑site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
- Use technical abilities to maintain systems.
- Work in a team‑based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe work environment, following all safety measures at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be flexible to work overtime, on‑call and weekends.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- HVAC trade school graduate strongly preferred (3.5 GPA and excellent attendance).
- 1+ years in a mechanical support role; some hands‑on HVAC experience preferred.
- EPA Certification – Type I & Type II or Universal Preferred.
- NATE certification a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Moderate lifting ability (up to 90 lbs).
- Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Excellent customer‑service skills.
- Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
- Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork.
- Ability to work independently and self‑schedule.
- Self‑motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints.
- Driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Periodically on‑call for service coverage.
- Local travel may be required.
- Get onto rooftop via fixed/extension ladder.
- Work at heights.
- Load and unload tools/equipment from work van.
- Lift up to 75 lbs, with shoulder/overhead lifts up to 25 lbs.
- Push/pull a wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.
- Climb ladder to roof height.
- Extend reach overhead repetitively.
- Tandem lift load up to 125 lbs.
This is an hourly non‑exempt role. Salary range: $33,000 – $41,000 annually. Overtime is paid for hours over 40 per week. Benefits include tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short‑term disability; paid maternity and bonding leave; life and long‑term disability; up to 10 paid days off and 10 paid holidays (subject to eligibility).
