Lead Residential HVAC Installer
Grand Rapids, MI – Full‑time, In‑person
Monday–Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional overtime as required)
Pay: $25–$40 per hour based on experience, with bonus opportunities.
Sign‑on bonus: up to $4,000 for qualified candidates.

What You’ll Do- Lead and perform installation of residential HVAC systems according to code and company standards
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and adjust systems for efficient operation
- Ensure job sites and vehicles are clean, safe, and organized
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
- Complete job documentation, service logs, and reports accurately
- Uphold Vander Hyde’s commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Stay current with industry tools, technology, and best practices
- 2+ years of experience in residential HVAC installation
- EPA Type II or Universal Certification
- Ability to handle system start‑up and adjustments independently
- Valid driver’s license with insurable record
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varied jobsite conditions
