Maintenance Technician at Yarco Property Management offers a unique opportunity to maintain residential properties across multiple locations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring safety, service quality, and resident satisfaction.

Position PurposeThis safety‑sensitive position works with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to perform repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the property, including residential apartments, public spaces, outside grounds, and equipment. It requires attending office hours to ensure operations run effectively.
Key Contributions- Property Appearance/Upkeep:
Keep the property neat, clean, and well-maintained; conduct daily exterior and interior inspections. - Appliance Maintenance:
Trouble‑shoot, diagnose, and correct minor failures in HVAC units; repair minor electrical and plumbing problems. - Make‑Ready:
Prepare units for market according to company standards, including some painting. - Laundry Room:
Maintain laundry rooms to company guidelines. - Pool Maintenance (if applicable):
Conduct daily chemical inspections and cleanings to meet city codes and company standards. - Customer Service:
Exceed resident satisfaction standards and be available for on‑call emergencies (e.g., snow removal). - Perform other duties as needed.

Education: High school diploma or GED required; HVAC or boiler certification preferred; pool certification preferred.
Experience: One year maintenance experience in residential properties.
Physical & Cognitive: Frequent standing, walking, occasional sitting; lift, push, pull, carry up to 110 lb; may involve squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, balancing.
Driving (if applicable): Valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, reliable transportation, and ability to be insurable at standard rates. Proof of personal auto liability insurance required when using company vehicles.
To be hired, candidates will be required to successfully complete a background investigation, drug screen, and a physical demand analysis; when applicable.
