Salary Range: $42,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
  • Read and accurately interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
  • Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure quality, strength, and adherence to standards.
  • Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, cutting, and cleaning prior to welding.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Strong adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Physical dexterity, stamina, and ability to lift and manipulate heavy components.
  • Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1).
Bonus Qualifications
  • AWS D1.1, D1.2, or other specialized code certifications.
  • Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, Stick) across various material types.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience with robotic welding or automated welding systems.
  • Basic fabrication skills including cutting, grinding, and fitting.
