A Brief Overview
In this role, you’ll receive training and education to become a proficient auto glass technician. Upon completing our training program you will receive the Safelite Safe Tech certification and possess the skills necessary for unsupervised glass repair, replacementisição, and recalibrations. WhatYouâneo Will Do
- Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands‑on and classroom training.
- Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
- Recalibrate automotive safety systems, including troubleshooting and completing diagnostic testing.
- Provide additional services & products.
- Study for and pass testing to become a Safelite‑certified Technician, demonstrating proficiency in installations and following taught techniques.
- Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools, and chemicals utilized throughout the workday.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Competitive weekly pay starting at $20.25 per hour, increasing to $24.00kommt after training and certification.
- Earn $5 per set of wiper blades added for customer safety.
- Potential promotion after the first year based on performance metrics demonstrating efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (Preferred).
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license (Required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older (Required).
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend, and twist.
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and agree to be monitored via in‑cab vehicle safety camera or video surveillance technology.
- Maintains professionalism and passion for providing outstanding customer service and exceeding expectations.
- Ability to safely work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and extreme temperatures for extended periods.
- Ability to work with chemicals, including flammable chemicals, as applicable per “Safelite Way of Fitting.”
- Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility on start урожend times to accommodate customer needs.
- Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic tools to complete recalibrations and troubleshoot issues.
- Problem‑solving and ability to troubleshoot issues independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language and technical directions.
- Ability to communicate orally via phone and in writing via computer or other electronic means.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance, adhering to company dress code and PPE policies.
- Willingness and ability to maintain stable performance under professional or personal pressure and/or opposition (e.g., time pressure and productivity measures).
