The City of Grand Rapids is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, inspection and repairs on a variety of city vehicles and equipment. You will prepare work orders and requisition parts for repair, ensuring safe operation.
Essential duties include diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, steering, braking, engine systems and transmissions, fabricating and installing auxiliary equipment, and performing related work as required.
