We're seeking an experienced NCCCO Certified Crane Operator to join our growing team. The NCCCO Certified Crane Operator is responsible for operating cranes, tractors, and lift trucks to safely and accurately complete lifting, rigging, and hauling tasks. This role includes preparing, maintaining, and positioning equipment, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and customer requirements. Operators also support project planning by coordinating equipment and rigging needs and may be assigned to a variety of projects across crane, rigging, trucking, and repair work.

In this role, you'll:

• Safely operate cranes, tractors, and lift trucks in accordance with NCCCO certifications, training, and job requirements.
• Plan ahead for successful job execution by preparing equipment, rigging, and materials for upcoming assignments.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing job scopes and priorities.
• Read and interpret lift plans, site drawings, and layouts to determine optimal equipment positioning.
• Assess job sites and establish the safest and most efficient crane setup for each lift.
• Apply advanced rigging knowledge and signaling practices to support safe, successful operations.
• Partner closely with Designated Signal Persons (DSPs) on each job to ensure clear communication and precise lift execution.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and work areas ensuring they are in a clean, organized, and job-ready condition.
• Complete thorough daily inspections, safety checks, and pre-trip documentation to keep equipment operating safely.
• Identify and promptly communicate equipment concerns to Dispatch or Maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic upkeep of assigned equipment.
• Keep Operations, Estimating, and Dispatch teams informed of job progress, changes, challenges, and delays.
• Represent GELOCK professionally by building positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and job site partners.
• Follow all company, customer, local, state, and federal safety requirements without exception.
• Lead by example in creating a safety-first environment for coworkers, customers, and the public.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the team and the company.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience operating crane units (3T–300T), tractors, and lift trucks preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL driver's license required.
• NCCCO Certification with fixed and swing cab endorsements required.
