We are seeking a Backend Developer to join the Services Team supporting a major Point of Sale (POS) modernization initiative. In this role, you will help migrate core POS functionality into Azure-based services and ensure scalable, reliable backend systems. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in .NET, C#, Azure, and backend API development. Experience with Cosmos DB is a plus.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using .NET and C#.
• Support the migration of existing Point of Sale (POS) systems into Azure-based services.
• Build and optimize APIs that integrate with multiple internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues across cloud and application layers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and quality assurance to ensure robust and scalable services.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, service design, and best practices for cloud-based development.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with .NET and C# in backend development roles.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure services and cloud‑based application development.
• 5+ years of API development experience (REST, microservices, or similar).
• Cosmos DB experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern development practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB.
• Background in POS systems or retail technology environments.
