Transportation Driver – Care Resources

Full Time

Schedule:

5 days a week (no holidays or weekends).

Shift: Days.
Care Resources is seeking a dedicated and safety‑focused Transportation Driver/PCA to join our team and support our Grand Rapids and surrounding area. In this role, you’ll provide reliable and courteous transportation for our participants using Care Resources vehicles, following assigned routes and appointment schedules. Occasional delivery services may also be required.

• Safely transport participants to and from the center, appointments, and outings
• Assist participants with boarding, exiting, and mobility devices
• Follow all safety protocols and transportation regulations
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
• Keep vehicles clean and fueled per schedule
• Deliver items such as meals, medications, and supplies
• Support participants during center activities and meals
• Document routes, incidents, and participant updates accurately
• Communicate changes in participant condition to appropriate staff
• Attend required trainings and team meetings
• Maintain participant confidentiality and uphold Care Resources’ values

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Valid Chauffeur’s License
• Clean driving record with proven safety history
• Valid auto insurance
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience
• 1 year of working with the senior population
• Ability to pass a background check and physical exam

• Starting wage: $18.82/hour
• Higher starting pay available based on experience
