MainResponsibilities
- Greeting our customers and ensuring they have a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles
- Performing vehicle readiness inspections to confirm tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are done
- Keeping our facilities clean and safe environments for our customers and associates
- Building your skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires and performing preventive maintenance repairs
- Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to work outside
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Compliance with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, or other information established by Penske management
- Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies (including correct selection and use of tools, PPE, machine guarding)
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
- Regulated by the DOT: maintain a current driver qualification file, including annual MVR check, completed DOT Physical, Safety Performance History records, and FMCSA Clearinghouse review for CDL holders (including drug screening within 30 days of start)
- Willingness to work the required schedule, location, complete application, background screening (criminal checks, past employment, education), pass drug screen and physical, and potential travel within a near geography for training
- Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, sit for extended periods
- Use hands routinely to grasp, reach, touch, operate tools or controls
- Work safely at heights using applicable ladders and elevated platforms
- Work safely in all weather conditions
- See and hear to safely navigate environment with large trucks in workplace
- Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
