Join North Homes Children and Family Services, where every trip helps support youth on their journey toward healing and stability. As a Youth Transport Driver, you’ll play an important role in providing safe, compassionate transportation for youth in our residential programs — no two days are the same, and every day is meaningful.
Pay & Benefits- $18.00-$20.00 per hour starting pay

- Safely transport youth to and from appointments, activities, and home visits
- Provide supervision, care, and positive guidance during transport
- Serve as a positive role model
- Ensure all residents are accounted for and supervised at all times
- Conduct weekly vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support a therapeutic and respectful environment during all interactions
- Administer medication as trained and respond appropriately to medical needs or emergencies

Requirements
Who You Are
You’re someone who cares deeply about helping youth succeed. You stay calm in challenging moments, communicate clearly, and bring a steady, supportive presence to every interaction.
Ideal Candidates Are:
- Dependable and professional, able to stay calm under pressure
- Compassionate toward youth, with strong listening and communication skills
- Skilled at maintaining boundaries while showing empathy and respect
- Committed to safety and structure, creating a positive environment during every transport
- Team-oriented, willing to learn and grow in a mission-driven organization
Minimum Requirements
- 21 years or older
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to complete agency-required training (First Aid, medication administration, etc.)
- Experience in Human Services, Behavioral Health, Education, or Law Enforcement
- Prior work with youth or vulnerable populations
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles
