Base pay range: $15.50/hr - $18.50/hr
This range is provided by The Home Depot. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities- Provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
- Learn about products using available tools and help customers by describing features and benefits to support selling an entire project.
- Greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department and assist in adjacent departments as needed.
- Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas; keep areas clean, shop-able, and safe.
- Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following safety policies and standards, completing required safety training, correcting hazards or reporting them to the Manager on Duty.
- Collaborate with the Department Supervisor and other department members across store areas.
- Departments may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing and Tool Rental.
- Role types may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
