Academic Tutor - High School (Math, Writing, and Social Studies Support) at Tutor Me Education. We are seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Grand Terrace, CA. • In-Person Tutoring in Grand Terrace, CA
• Schedule:
  
  4pm onwards, 2x a week
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
• Focus Subjects:
  Math, ELA, Social Studies

• Experienced in tutoring high school students across multiple subjects
• Patient, calm, and consistent in approach
• Comfortable reinforcing academic skills through clear explanations and guided practice
• Able to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries
• Familiarity with special education, behavioral supports, or ABA principles is a plus, but not required

• Provide individualized academic instruction tailored to the student's learning needs and goals
• Break down complex concepts into manageable steps, particularly in math and writing
• Reinforce foundational skills through repetition, guided practice, and positive reinforcement
• Track student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Communicate regularly and professionally with the family regarding progress and strategies
• Maintain a calm, supportive environment that promotes learning and minimizes frustration
• Adapt sessions as needed based on student engagement, attention span, and daily needs
• Respect and uphold confidentiality and appropriate boundaries at all times
