Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Financial Analyst or Junior Financial Analyst with 1-3 years of accounting experience. This is a full-time position in a fast-growing cannabis company. You will assist in month-end close processes, regulatory compliance, and plant cost accounting, enhancing your skills with guidance from seasoned CPA mentors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheets

• Review accounts receivable and payable listings

• Assist with regulatory compliance requirements

• Support quarter-end reviews and year-end audits

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of accounting or related experience

• Completed diploma in accounting or related field

• Knowledge of full cycle accounting and reconciliations

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Authorized to work in Canada and reside in Greater Calgary
